WELCOME TO THE ZANY, WHIMSICAL WORLD OF PIANO SCULPTURES!
I'm so glad you've discovered my site and I welcome your comments and camaraderie! Are you a musician? An artist? A politician? (Yes, I have a piano planned for you, too!) A psychologist? (I think they're all for you!) Whatever you are, there must be a piano here to tickle your funny-bone. Every one of us has one of those, you know - maybe it's just covered up by too many layers of whatever! Come on - send me your comments! Do you have a piano to suggest?
I was born and raised on a hog and grain farm in Central Indiana. Hearing my Mom play the piano inspired me to learn at an early age and it soon became my passion. I graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory as a piano performance major/flute performance minor. 12 years later I was back in school at Butler U. in Indianapolis to earn Master of Music performance degrees in both instruments. I taught piano and flute privately from a very early age, then at Taylor University for 15 years and finally back to teaching just privately. In 2003 I discovered a new passion with clay and my two passions merged into the creation of whimsical ceramic pianos and other musical instruments.
